Amazing.

"Well, no pickup line is perfect. Think of them like a Pascal's wager of picking up girls. The probability it'll work is nearly 0, but the possible payoff is huge, and the cost of trying is really low, so why not? And that, is a rough economics description of why guys yell stuff out the window of cars. I should get a Nobel for that." - Rob

"I think it's really funny that I know how to run the world and I'm only 14." - Little Matt

Lucien!

Great sex.  Amazing sex.

It wasn't just sex, though.  With him, it was more.  I mean, we both tortured ourselves waiting for this, but it was sooooo worth the wait.  It just made my night with him so much better.

Great sex, though.  Can't skip that part.

Migraines.

I'm legal.  Woot.  Seriously, I don't see the big deal in it.  I can vote, but that's about it.  Well, I don't have a legal curfew anymore either, but I still have a curfew with my mom.

Yesterday was nice though.  A lot of people actually remembered my birthday, unexpectedly.  After school, I went to my mom's work and had dinner.  Of course, she gets everyone in the restaurant--even the kitchen--to come out and sing to me.  She even tied a balloon on my wrist and made sure the sundae was strawberry instead of chocolate so I could eat it.

After I recovered from that, I picked up Little Mat from wrestling practice, and we had some coffee.  I visited with his family when I dropped him off, and they showed me some adorable home videos.

CSI was really good last night.

I woke up this morning with a killer migraine.

Concert and a birthday.

Posted by Janel at 05:05 PM on December 6, 2006.

My mom's "friend" Robyn was here for about a week.  That was really cool.  She's a great person, and she's so good for my mom.

The choir concert was last night at CSMS.  It went rather well, considering.  Though, no offense, Lydia, Jen and Colleen were not the best voices for those solos.  Personally, I would have chosen Mariah for "O Little Town of Bethlehem", Sarah B. for "Happy Hanukah" and myself (not trying to be an egotist) for "Have You Heard."  Then again, that's just me.

Tomorrow is my birthday.  And I want it to go away.  My mom already made me celebrate when I didn't want to, and now I might have to do it again.  Damn.

MidKnight Madness, anyone?

Posted by Janel at 04:53 PM on November 17, 2006.

So, Liz is my hero.  Quite literally.

I was supposed to work tonight--close, actually--but I was also supposed to go to MidKnight Madness tonight to sing with the choir.  So I was in a bit of a pickle.

Yesterday, I see Liz on the way out of the library as I'm heading in to do some history.  We get to talking, and she tells me that she broke her thumb on Wednesday.  Poor thing.  We say our goodbyes, and she promises to sto by.

Later that night, Liz comes into work as promised.  She's actually looking for Rachel to see if she can get some hours before Sunday, preferably for tonight.  I suggest she take my shift.  She's delighted, I'm delighted, and Robert signs the ok.

I heart Liz.  I mean mucho  Liz.  She saved my butt, big time.  Either I was going to have to call in--again--or miss a graded performance.  So thank Liz again!  I almost wish she'd read my Tabulas so she could get how much this meant to me.

On second thought, I'd rather her not read it.  There are some sketchy comments about her looks.  And by sketchy, I mean she's gorgeous and I commented on it; it'd be a little awkward for her to read that.

Oww.

Posted by Janel at 06:05 PM on November 15, 2006.

I decided to sneak some chocolate last night after having been forbid either chocolate or caffeine for the past two weeks, and my head literally caved in today.  As in died.  i couldn't go to school, I was in so much pain.

I did have Little Matt over yesterday.  He is frankly amazing.  Which is pretty crazy, considering his age and all.  I mean, age doesn't really matter, but in the grand scheme of things, it does make life a little more difficult.

Yay.

I love Little Matt.  I got to see him yesterday, and it was friggin' amazing.  He let me borrow his sweater. :D  It's warm and smells like him.

Dude, I am so excited that I don't have to work tomorrow.

I feel rather stupid.

So, a lot of these entries are just me bitching about my days.  Lovely.  Well, the election entry wasn't that bad.

I have no idea where I'm going with this.  I just had the sudden urge to be intelligent; of course, that failed.  But hey, I still tried.

He's back! Yay!

I get to talk to my Little Matt again.  He was grounded for a week; he decked a kid in the face for calling me a slut.

I miss-ed him.
